Here is a review of this book: "Allelluia Haitian Chants of Hope and Faith: Praise to Thee, O Lord, King of Eternal Glory... is a listing of the most requested songs or hymns on ChandesperansOnline.com. It is the web site users' and authors' selections of their favorite hymns from the famous Chants d'esperance Francais et Creoles Haitiens. The authors of this release grew up singing these songs in the church and parochial schools they attended. They are songs such as "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" -"Quel Ami Fidele et Tendre Nous Avons en Jesus-Christ," "Quel Repos, Quel Repos" - "It is Well, It is Well...," etc. This book is a personal affair for the authors as they share their love of singing in French and Haitian creole..."

Sing along with Haitian Children! Canten con los chicos Haitianos. This compilation is for those who want to sing along with Haitian Children at christian venues, outreach mission trips, schools, churches and elsewhere. Some of the songs are short choruses...

Start playing some of these choruses on your guitar or piano and the Haitian children will follow you. They will sing with you. All throughout the country, these songs are are sung in most churches or revival centers.

These are songs I used to sing with the children of my Sunday school class. L'ecole du Dimanche or Sunday school can be a lot of fun with the right selection of songs.

The Most Popular French and Haitian Creole Hymns Sung on Sunday Morning and Evening Services According to www.Chandesperansonline.com

Review:

Choir Director and Pastor Marcel Dubois' most recent project culminates in the compilation of the most popular hymns sung by Haitian / American / French churches during Sunday morning and evening services. He wants to thank all the ministers, faithful, and music directors of these churches and congregations that had sent their programs to him for the duration of this project. They believed in this project. And they wanted to see its success. Pastor Dubois hopes that this compilation is going to benefit many church members. Just like you, he believes in the power of music to help you praise and worship God.

Maybe it is a sign of hope that most Haitians want these days. Six months after the quake that ravaged the country, many things remain the same. There are still bodies trapped under the debris of the quake in most parts of Port-au-Prince. Yet, pledges of billions of dollars were made. It is hard to know who is responsible to clean up after all this time. Money is everything. Money is needed to get projects started, but the organizations that hold the purse seem to include a minority of people who discuss the plans and expenditures in English, French and Spanish. 90% of Haitians whose sole language is Creole are excluded.

At the same time, Haitians do not give up hope. They continue to pray for change and delivery. They find their support from hymns found in Chandesperans or Chants d'Esperance sold at La Presse Evangelique in Petionville and eslewhere in the country.

Nimewo 45 “Echo Des Elus”: Jezu va woule wòch la (Jézu va roulé ròch la)

Dedikas / Dedication:

**As Requested by Marie Raymonde Jeudy....(Thanks for your request!)**

Mwen pa kapab bliye ki kote-m te ye
Lè Jezu te jwenn mwen lavi-m te chanje
Se pou sa m-ap chante paske li sove-m
Si satan vle bare-m ma va rele Jezu

Jezu va woule wòch la
Ki vin bare-m nan mòn nan (3 fwa)
E-m konnen yon jou sa va chanje

Mwen pa jamè bliye ki jan sa te ye
Lespri-m te boulvèse paske-m te mare
Lè-m vin jwenn ak Jezu tout bagay chanje
Wòch la te mèt bare-m Jezu va delivre-m
Pafwa-m konn ap kriye devan pwoblèm yo
Mwen desann sou jenou m’ap rele Jezu
Mwen tande vwa Jezu kap pale avè-m

Out e mèt meprize ou pa gen zanmi
Si ou se zanmi Jezu ou gen tout bagay
La vi ou te mèt tou nwa yon jou sa va chanje

Famous Quote by Sen. John Lewis on Civil Rights Movement

""Singing sustains and energizes us through danger and fear. Through long days and longer nights; through cold, hard winters; and hot, fierce summers, "freedom songs" nurture us, protect us, and keep us sane. They are the expression of our ideology, and the songs we sing together are the pledge of trust and committment that we make to each other."
